Our approach to creating beautiful stained glass begins by listening to your ideas so we can understand your vision first.
You may want windows that feature an abstract pattern of richly colored glass and elegant lines, or traditional stained glass with painted details. Our skilled designers can offer their expertise and guide you through the creative process. Our goal is always exceptional work and your complete satisfaction.
Because stained glass is all about color, we translate the ideas from this initial meeting into several loosely colored sketches from which to choose.
Finally, a full color illustration is presented for your approval.
Creating a stained glass window begins with a full scale drawing. Next, patterns are made from this drawing and glass is cut and ground precisely to fit each pattern piece. Some stained glass windows require hand painted detailing like faces or ornaments. Trained by European master, Andrew Maglia, our painting staff is one of the finest in the country.
Our skilled glass crafters assemble each window one piece at a time weaving the lead caming between the glass. After the window is assembled, all the joints are soldered. Finally, a liquid glazing compound is worked into the lead caming. This glazing material will harden and make the window stronger. The window is then carefully cleaned and reinforcing rods are fastened in place.
The installation process is one of the most important steps. We use the finest state of the art techniques and materials to ensure the long-term integrity of your windows.
